For over 40 years, A D Original Ointment has been used by the entire family to treat and prevent minor skin problems. Here are a few of the many uses of A D Original Ointment: Dry skin, chapped lips and skin, cracked skin, chafing, minor burns, sunburn, minor skin irritations, abrasions, windburn and flaky skin.

Directions:* For skin irritations: apply A D Original Ointment liberally as often as necessary.
* If diaper rash, redness, or chafing is present: use A D Original Ointment to create a protective barrier on baby's delicate skin that seals out irritating wetness and allows skin to heal naturally. Change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow to dry. Apply A D Original Ointment liberally as often as necessary with each diaper change especially at bedtime or anytime when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged.
Indications:Helps treat and prevent diaper rash. Protects chafed skin or minor skin irritation associated with diaper rash and helps seal out wetness. Helps prevent and temporarily protects chafed, chapped, cracked or windburn skin and lips. Provides temporary protection of minor cuts, scrapes, burns and sunburn.
Warnings:For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor. Not to be applied over deep or puncture wounds, infections or lacerations. Consult a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
