Aveeno Bath for itchy, irritated skin is made of 100-percent pure colloidal oatmeal - a long recognized natural anti-itch ingredient. In the unique bath products from Aveeno, colloidal oatmeal is milled to an ultra-fine powder. When dispersed in water, this powder forms a soothing milky bath. After bathing, skin becomes softer and smoother and itchy, sore, sensitive skin is relieved.
Aveeno Bath works as a natural cleanser and cleans the skin without soap. Surface soils adhere to the ultra-fine colloidal oatmeal particles and gently rinse away. With pH level similar to that of healthy skin, Aveeno Bath also acts as a buffer to normalize sensitive, irritated skin. A protective barrier is formed which helps guard skin against surface irritation.
Directions:Turn water faucets on to full force, with water at comfortably warm temperature. Tear open Aveeno Bath packet and slowly sprinkle contents under running faucet to avoid clumping or settling, stir water thoroughly. Bathe in Aveeno Bath for 15 to 20 minutes, once or twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Gently pat skin to dry. Do not rub.
For Bathing Infants: Sprinkle one half of packet's contents into bathing tub. A 10 minute soak is effective for a small child. Not harmful if accidentally ingested. Rinses clean from hair.
